We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Project Manager – Digital Banking to join our organization and drive key digital transformation initiatives. In this role, you will lead the delivery of complex digital banking projects, including mobile banking, internet banking, core banking integrations, APIs, and fintech collaborations. You will be responsible for end-to-end project execution, ensuring timely delivery, quality outcomes, and alignment with business and regulatory requirements. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in managing digital platforms, cross-functional teams, and agile delivery models within the banking environment.
Responsibilities
- Lead and manage digital banking projects from initiation to closure, including mobile apps, web platforms, API integrations, and digital transformation programs.
- Develop and maintain detailed project plans covering scope, timelines, resources, budget, and dependencies.
- Collaborate with IT, business, cybersecurity, compliance, vendors, and fintech partners to ensure seamless delivery.
- Apply Agile, Scrum, or hybrid delivery models to support faster and scalable digital releases.
- Monitor project progress, proactively manage risks, issues, and change requests, and ensure mitigation plans are in place.
- Ensure adherence to banking regulations, data security, privacy, and digital compliance standards.
- Facilitate stakeholder meetings, sprint reviews, and steering committee updates.
- Prepare and present project dashboards, milestones, and status reports to senior management.
- Support continuous improvement of digital project governance, delivery frameworks, and best practices.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, IT, Engineering, or Finance; PMP / PRINCE2 / Agile certification preferred.
- Proven experience as a Project Manager in Digital Banking or FinTech environments.
- Strong knowledge of digital banking platforms, mobile/web applications, APIs, cloud, and system integrations.
- Hands-on experience with Agile/Scrum, SAFe, or hybrid project methodologies.
- Excellent stakeholder, vendor, and cross-functional team management skills.
- Strong understanding of banking regulations, cybersecurity, data privacy, and compliance in digital channels.
- Exceptional communication, leadership, and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple digital initiatives in a fast-paced, transformation-driven environment.
