We are seeking an experienced AWS Data Engineer to join our growing team. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in Python, PySpark, Databricks, and AWS to build and maintain scalable, high-performance data pipelines. You will be responsible for designing, developing, and optimizing ETL processes while ensuring data quality, reliability, and efficiency.

As an AWS Data Engineer, you will work with large volumes of structured and unstructured data, developing robust data transformation solutions using Python, PySpark, AWS S3, and AWS Lambda Functions. You will collaborate with software engineers, data analysts, and business stakeholders to deliver reliable data solutions that support business requirements.

The role requires hands-on experience with Databricks, Pandas, and SQL databases such as PostgreSQL or MongoDB. You should be comfortable implementing business logic, optimizing data processing workflows, and troubleshooting performance issues. A strong understanding of cloud-based data engineering practices and Agile methodologies is essential.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines using Python, PySpark, and AWS.
• Build and optimize ETL/ELT workflows using Databricks, AWS S3, and Lambda Functions.
• Process and manage large datasets while ensuring data quality and performance.
• Develop and maintain data transformation logic and calculation engines.
• Work with PostgreSQL or MongoDB for data storage and querying.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver data-driven solutions.
• Participate in code reviews, testing, deployment, and Agile development activities.
• Identify and resolve data processing and performance issues.

Required Skills

• 6–14 years of experience in Data Engineering.
• Strong proficiency in Python and PySpark.
• Hands-on experience with AWS S3 and AWS Lambda Functions.
• Experience with Databricks and Pandas.
• Good knowledge of SQL, PostgreSQL, or MongoDB.
• Experience building scalable ETL/data processing pipelines.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in an Agile environment.
