Counter sales executive

Job Description

Responsibilities:

1. Counter sales
2. Take care of counter of Jewellery and make quotations 

Customer Service & Counter Management:

1. Attend to the designated jewellery counter
2. Understand customer requirements, design preferences, and budgets.
3. Showcase matching pieces, explain craftsmanship, and recommend suitable collections.

Quotation & Estimation Generation:

1. Calculate and prepare accurate, price quotations based on current metal rates (gold/silver/platinum per gram), stone/diamond weight, making charges (wastage/labor), and applicable taxes (like GST).
2. Explain the cost breakup clearly to the customer.

Inventory & Counter Maintenance:

1. Arrange and display jewellery neatly and securely
2. Conduct daily opening and closing stock counts for the assigned counter to ensure zero discrepancies.
3. Report any damaged, lost, or misplaced items immediately to the store manager.

Billing & Sales Closure:

1. Coordinate with the billing desk to generate final invoices upon sale confirmation.
2. Maintain records of daily customer walk-ins, inquiries, and generated quotations.
