Business Development Manager

Job Description

Job Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain relationships with Architects, Interior Designers, Consultants and PMCs.
• Work with the existing database of 4,000+ architects for business development and networking.
• Generate new project opportunities through architect/designer networking and institutional sales.
• Get company products approved and specified for projects with the support of architects, interior designers, consultants and PMCs.
• Handle project sales and institutional sales from lead generation to closure.
• Conduct regular site visits and client meetings and understand project requirements.
• Manage vendors, BOQs, quotations and project-related coordination.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers in the interior/project ecosystem.
• Use AI tools and digital platforms effectively for networking, prospecting and database alignment.
• Demonstrate leadership and strong communication skills while dealing with architects and interior designers. 

Candidate Profile:

• Young, smart and presentable professional with excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Experience in project sales / institutional sales, preferably from the interior, architectural products, building materials or allied industry.
• Strong network or experience working with Architects and Interior Designers will be preferred.
• Good understanding of project sales cycles, BOQs, site coordination and client handling.
• Strong negotiation, relationship-building and business development skills.
• Comfortable with frequent client/site visits.
• Knowledge of AI tools for networking, lead generation and database management will be an added advantage.
• Should have the ability to independently manage clients, projects and business targets.
