Job Title: Fitter (Full-Time)

Department: Production / Assembly

Experience Required: 1–3 Years (Preferred in Pump Manufacturing)

Job Summary:

We are looking for a skilled and dedicated Fitter to join our pump manufacturing team. The candidate will be responsible for assembling, fitting, and maintaining mechanical components and pump systems with precision and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assemble and fit mechanical components of pumps as per drawings and specifications
• Perform drilling, tapping, grinding, and basic machining work
• Read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints
• Ensure proper alignment and fitting of parts
• Inspect finished components to ensure quality standards
• Carry out repair and maintenance of pumps and related equipment
• Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition
• Follow safety guidelines and company procedures

Required Skills:

• Good knowledge of mechanical fitting and assembly
• Ability to read engineering drawings
• Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and measuring instruments
• Basic understanding of pump systems (centrifugal, submersible, etc.)
• Attention to detail and accuracy

Qualifications:

• ITI in Fitter Trade or equivalent
• Relevant experience in pump or mechanical manufacturing industry preferred
