Job Description

Kotdwar Institute of Hotel Management (KIHM) is inviting applications for the position of Principal. The ideal candidate should have strong academic leadership, administrative experience, and the ability to manage institutional operations while maintaining high educational standards.

Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage the overall academic and administrative activities of the institute.
• Ensure compliance with institutional policies and regulatory requirements.
• Recruit, mentor, and supervise faculty and staff.
• Develop academic plans and maintain high standards of teaching and student development.
• Monitor admissions, placements, and student welfare activities.
• Build relationships with industry partners to support internships and placements.
• Represent the institute at academic and professional events.

Eligibility:

• Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Hotel Management or a related field.
• Prior experience in academic administration or as a Principal, HOD, or senior faculty member is preferred.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
• Strong knowledge of hospitality education and industry practices.

Job Type: Full-time
